Yarra Trams commissioned Bison United to document another major infrastructure project of the rail and tram stop upgrade in William Street, Melbourne. This complex project included extensive night works, road closures and 24 hour construction documented by timelapse, drone and video. Key features included the replacement of original rail tracks, building level access tram stops with shelters, modern amenities and features. Careful scheduling and documentation of the construction of the new enhanced safety features, separating passengers from traffic and cyclists and trams, was essential for community and broadcast news updates. A fantastic result for commuters with exceptional often unseen night footage of a challenging CBD infrastructure site.
